Automotive Mechanic — Waco, TX

The Job

We’re looking for a skilled automotive mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate is ASE Certified and has strong diagnostic and repair experience across a range of vehicles. Diesel and heavy equipment experience is a major plus — we run dedicated departments for both.

Responsibilities

• ▸Diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive systems including brakes, suspension, steering, alignments, AC, transmissions, and engines
• ▸Perform digital vehicle inspections and accurately document findings
• ▸Complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard of quality
• ▸Communicate repair needs and recommendations clearly through the service team
• ▸Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe

Pay & Schedule

• ▸$30.00–$45.00 per flag hour, based on experience and certifications
• ▸Full-time, with steady work volume to keep your hours up

Qualifications

• ✓ASE Certification (preferred)
• ✓Proven automotive repair and diagnostic experience
• ✓Diesel and/or heavy equipment experience (a plus)
• ✓Own set of tools
• ✓Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• ✓Reliable, professional, and able to work well in a team
• ✓High school diploma or equivalent

Experience & Certifications

• Automotive repair: 5 years (required)
• Automotive diagnostics: 4 years (preferred)
• ASE A1 Engine Repair Certification (preferred)
• ASE A4 Suspension & Steering Certification (preferred)
